2022 Newburgh Illuminated Festival

What you need to know:

Festival is 12 noon to 10pm.

Vendor Check in times/locations will be communicated no later than 2 weeks prior to the event.

Space assignments will not be issued in advance - Vendors MUST report to check in to get their placements!

You will be allowed to drive into the festival area to offload at your space. (Cutoff for vehicle entry into the festival area will be 11am.)

Note that you will not be able to drive a vehicle into the festival area until after 10pm.

Electricity will not be provided.

If you use a generator, it must be rated quiet. If your generator is loud or disruptive you will not be allowed to use it.

The Festival will not provide water or ice.

Each vendor booth must be entirely self sufficient. You are expected to keep your area neat and tidy, and please clean up after yourself.

You must provide your own table, chairs and tent.

There is no rain date.

Vendor fees are non refundable.

ALL VENDORS are required to have available for inspection and to be on display the day of the festival a current NYS Certificate of Authority and are responsible for collecting and reporting NYS Sales Tax. It is the vendor's responsibility for any additional permits/licenses required by law.

Trash must be neatly bagged. Please help us make the festival a success for all by actively participating in keeping our areas clean.

INSURANCE REQUIREMENTS All food vendors must have $1,000,000 in liability insurance. The following MUST be named on the insurance (all 3 can be on the same page with the address c/o Grit Works, 115 Broadway, Newburgh, NY 12550):

*Community Foundation of Orange and Sullivan

Board of Health - all food vendors MUST be permitted by the Orange County Board of Health.

* PLEASE NOTE the OCBOH will be on site inspecting, please ensure that you have printed copies of this permit as well.

Beverages: Food vendors may sell only non-alcoholic beverages.

No grease or gray water is to be poured onto the ground or down any drains. If you are found to be doing so, you will be asked to leave the festival. You will also be held responsible for any cleanup costs and subject to prosecution.
